Airtel double data offer of 11GB for N2000 and 22GB for N3000 have been reportedly making the round earlier today.

But after due consultations directly from Airtel, we have come to realize that the 11GB for N2000 and 22GB for N3000 were seen in errors as after dialling the subscription code, which is *442# the 11GB for N2000 and the 22GB for N3000 are not really what they entail, rather the 11 is separated as 1. 1 and so is the 22 as 2. 2, which implies that one should reply with 1 for 1GB data and 2 for 2GB data.

So we implore you not to go ahead and subscribe for any of the airtel double data offers as earlier reported, if you were expecting to get 11GB for N2000 and 22GB for N3000 as the rightful data allotted to the plans are 1GB for N2000 and 2GB for N3000.

Now one can easily start to imagine what has come of Airtel to introduce such data plans that appear pricey in the era of cheaper internet data and even more so, knowing that Airtel even have 1.5GB data plan for N1000 and 3.5GB data plan for N2000 that works on all devices but hidden under the name Airtel Android data plans.

Sometimes one can hardly fathom the way some of these network providers behave and the funniest of all is that this almost useless Airtel double data plans are even SIM selective.

Now tell me will even a drunkard see 3.5GB data plan for N2000 and still go for 2GB for N2000 in the same Airtel network, or is Airtel not aware that their competitor Glo offer 6GB of data for N2000?
