My iPhone 6 is not responding, won't turn on [How to Fix]

b. Swipe left to locate the app you want to close.

c. To close the app, swipe up on its preview.

The recently used apps that show on screen after you press the Home button two times quickly are not open. Instead, they are in an efficient standby mode.

2. Restart your iPhone

A simple phone restart often times worked when the device becomes unresponsive or if certain controls are not working properly. To restart your iPhone just press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider shows, then drag the slider to turn the phone completely off. Wait for a few seconds then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple Logo.

3. Reset your iPhone

You may need to reset your iPhone especially if it remains unresponsive or does not power on no matter how you tried. This however should be considered your last resort, and only if you really cannot power on your device.

To reset your iPhone, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo, and complete the entire reset process.

4. Ensure your iPhone has enough charge to turn on. 

It's possible that your iPhone has no enough battery power that's why you are seeing no display or screen remains black. Try to connect it to a charger and let it charge for at least 20 minutes, then check it.

Also try to press the Sleep/Wake button to wake the device, especially if there's no image showing on screen while the device is on.

a. Connect your iPhone to your computer.
