Just when you think that Blackberry has thrown in the towel in smartphone business and manufacturing, they have gone ahead to unleash their next in line android device.
Remember we told you the other time that http://maxyaquos.blogspot.com /2016/07/blackberry-not-given-up-yet-reportedly.html" target="_blank">Blackberry is planning to launch 3 android devicesbefore this year runs out and early part of 2017, and it seems that they have started making do its promise by unleashing the first set of the devices that they tagged Blackberry DTEK50.

Blackberry also claims that their latest and 2nd entrant Android device, Blackberry DTEK50 is the most secure smartphone in the world and this was shown in the Blackberry DTEK security software that was incorporated into the device that allows users to easily get an overview of any potential threat to their devices to enable them seek for immediate solution.
Blackberry also went further to state that the Blackberry’s own initial security technology has been modified into the android device to even provide additional security to the latest DTEK50 smartphone.
The new device is a 5.2inches smartphone on a 1080p all touchscreen display resolution, which is quite different from Blackberry first Android device, the http://maxyaquos.blogspot.com /2015/10/blackberry-priv-now-up-for-pre-order.html" target="_blank">Blackberry Priv that features both touchscreen and dock able physical keyboard.

DTEK50 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and it features a 13MP camera with LED flash and also an 8MP front facing selfie shooter also with LED flash.
It came with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM.
The Blackberry DTEK50 will run on out of the box Android 6.0 Marshmallow and it is packed with a 2,610mAh capacity battery.
The device was unveiled today and it can be preordered for $299 (N90,000) directly from Blackberry and will be completely available starting next month from August 8.
